A day after AAP leader Sanjay Singh in a press conference admitted that AAP Rajyasabha member was indeed beaten up by Arvind Kejriwal’s PS Vibhav Kumar, the DCW Chairman Swati Maliwal has announced ex gratia of Rs 10 Crore for Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal.
Reportedly, DCW chairman Swati Maliwal wrote a cheque of Rs 10 Crore to hand it over to her left hand from right hand.
Speaking to The Baingan, Swati Maliwal said “the compensation is important for women who get abused by their bosses as it helps them to take a stand and be more courageous”.
Swati Maliwal, who has been requesting women to come forward and report the crime they undergo, has realised that sometime the criminal is so dangerous that accepting crime becomes impossible. More on this is awaited.
