On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi declared assets worth over Rs 20 crore in his election affidavit.

As per the the affidavit filed with the Election Commission of India (ECI) Rahul Gandhi has Rs 8,16,94,091 attributed to investments in mutual funds and stocks.

Seeing that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has significantly increased his exposure to the Indian equity market in the last ten years, other Congress leaders have accused Rahul Gandhi of campaigning for BJP to further increase his investment value.

Speaking to The Baingan, a leaving congress leader said “Rahul Gandhi is not campaigning for Congress because he wants Modi to win and his invested value to rise further, he might be voting for BJP too”

The Baingan sources suggest that Rahul Gandhi is also likely to give input in BJP’s manifesto as he also believes that Modi actually delivers.
